Spring break was too short but too fun. I got to take a trip with my friend Zach up to Atlanta to go watch the NASA race up at the Road Atlanta road course. I have been told that any car goes in this race and that if I can get a helmet by next year I could enter. So of course that is happening since my car lacks a limiter! I then came home to spend plenty of time with my girlfriend going on ghost tours, cool restaurants, celebrating Saint Patrick's Day with her awesome parents in the crazy celebration in Savannah, watch cool movies like the Muppets Most wanted, watching Sgt Frog, and even going to the beach and cooking barbeque! I rocked BBQing! (thanks mom ^_^) I think I can approve of my vacation. It was awesome and now I am hoping for an awesome quarter ahead. I got pushed forward to an advanced computer class over the basic one for my major which means instead of relearning Photoshop and Illustrator I get to move to advanced versions of the program and Maya. It will be harder but much more fun! With the other classes I suppose I will see. Also I will have a new website with this new computer class so I will post the link soon!
Cheers!

Back at School

I'm back at SCAD now! I'm glad to be back to see everyone again. Its been a wild couple of weeks, reunited with my girlfriend, started playing Dungeons and Dragons (got some awesome dice), and got to meet some awesome new teachers in some great classes. This quarter I am getting to learn 3D design which is my love to build things. I also am taking a drawing/painting class which I have found that after learning is just as relaxing as whenever I paint objects. Finally I'm taking history which is just a subject that I love. I found a love for Egyptian history and all of its fascinating art and culture. Anyway hope that all of you are having a great year too! Cheers.

Afest 2013

So I'm at Afest, my last Dallas convention before I go to college. I'm here dressed as Phantom R from my new favourite game Rythm Thief (see more details on my new tumblr). Luckily some people recognize me! Got to play cards against humanity deep into last night which was absulute mad hilarity! Other than that I collected the second, endering yotsuba book and have been trying to keep myself from spending all my college funds before going to SCAD! I was lucky enough to share hotel fees with a friend and get a nice place on the floor! With a free pillow! Wow! Anyway Now I'm off to learn fighting games, use a mech pod and enter the dive kick tournement tonight with a questionable showing at the rave! Hope you all have a good labor day weekend!

Hey guys, so one thing you may not know is that I love open wheel racing, ovals, road courses, the works. If a type of race exists where the cars are the fastest and can still steer, I love it! So last weekend I got the opportunity to drive and Indy Car at 150mph at the Texas Motor Speedway ( www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Vnrq4… ) which is, believe me, the strangest oval ever. The course had a dog leg which made for extra turning and the banks were so sharp that had I even touched the infield I would have crashed. Nonetheless this was one of the craziest experiences of my life! Open wheel cars drive at speeds that make their cornering seem absolutely impossible. I was trusting in physics that in my head generally didn't make sense. My car would have spun out at those speeds, but instead I was having no problem steering. It was some of the most fun I have ever had, and I somehow went over the car's governor limiting system and hit 158.88mph instead of stopping at 150mph. It was apparently a record for the day.
Even more fun was two weeks before, I got to see my girlfriend again after a long time. It was a wonderful reunion that was too short. I was happy for the moments and I already miss her, and that class ring I gave her like a fifties girlfriend. :) We also went shopping for geek supplies for her survival in a town of no comic book stores! I even gave her some of my comics, may have influenced some likes! I love her and I miss her and I cannot wait for next time.
And now for my ideas on media! I saw the new Star Trek and Trekkies, you have my full attention now! I absolutely loved that movie! Game-wise I just got a 3DS and I love it. I got Rhythm Thief which almost immediately has become an all time favourite. That game just brings me pure joy playing it. I have also found that while I thought that Now You See Me was a good movie, its sound track was absolutely amazing! I have been listening to it for a while. Also I discovered Roosterteeth Lets Plays which is a nice relaxing bit of madness to watch.
Well and that's all I have to say.

So the last two weeks have been fun. I spent my Easter weekend with my friend :iconp0nyc4nd1skulz: It was great to see her again and a blast taking a weekend off! Then last weekend I spent with my baby cousin doing childish awesome! ^_^ We broke out the Play Doh need I say more? Also I gained a girlfriend somewhere in there, and I love her very much. I'd say things are really coming together to end my year. No nagging about my art it will come eventually! And lastly Cartoon Network signed on with Netflix!!!
