Hey guys, so one thing you may not know is that I love open wheel racing, ovals, road courses, the works. If a type of race exists where the cars are the fastest and can still steer, I love it! So last weekend I got the opportunity to drive and Indy Car at 150mph at the Texas Motor Speedway (
www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Vnrq4… ) which is, believe me, the strangest oval ever. The course had a dog leg which made for extra turning and the banks were so sharp that had I even touched the infield I would have crashed. Nonetheless this was one of the craziest experiences of my life! Open wheel cars drive at speeds that make their cornering seem absolutely impossible. I was trusting in physics that in my head generally didn't make sense. My car would have spun out at those speeds, but instead I was having no problem steering. It was some of the most fun I have ever had, and I somehow went over the car's governor limiting system and hit 158.88mph instead of stopping at 150mph. It was apparently a record for the day.
Even more fun was two weeks before, I got to see my girlfriend again after a long time. It was a wonderful reunion that was too short. I was happy for the moments and I already miss her, and that class ring I gave her like a fifties girlfriend.
We also went shopping for geek supplies for her survival in a town of no comic book stores! I even gave her some of my comics, may have influenced some likes! I love her and I miss her and I cannot wait for next time.
And now for my ideas on media! I saw the new Star Trek and Trekkies, you have my full attention now! I absolutely loved that movie! Game-wise I just got a 3DS and I love it. I got Rhythm Thief which almost immediately has become an all time favourite. That game just brings me pure joy playing it. I have also found that while I thought that Now You See Me was a good movie, its sound track was absolutely amazing! I have been listening to it for a while. Also I discovered Roosterteeth Lets Plays which is a nice relaxing bit of madness to watch.
Well and that's all I have to say.
